A Kid on Christmas Eve

It’s so strange to finally be here, on the eve of my first book being available to the public.

I finished writing it in November of 2025.
By January, it had a finished cover.
In February, my editor worked his magic.
By March 2026, it was finalized and uploaded, just awaiting release day.

That day is finally here. Tomorrow.

Someone could read it on Kindle.
Or buy a copy at Barnes & Noble or Amazon.
Someone could request it at their local library.

There are people out there who will read it and shrug.
There are others who will think about it long after the final line.

Tomorrow is more than my first book release. It’s the beginning of something much bigger.
The beginning of the next part of my life. The part where I become a real author.

Six weeks from now, my second book will be released.
Twelve weeks from now, my third.

It’s a snowball effect I’ve been planning for over seven months.

I’m excited, but also absolutely terrified.
There are a lot of ‘what ifs.”

But I’m going to keep doing what I’ve been doing.
Writing. Learning. Growing. Continuing to adapt as both a writer and a human.

If you’re reading this, I want you to know I appreciate you.

And I’ll see you on the other side.
